She also worked at the Internal Revenue Service for several years. Thelma loved her large family and they returned their love to her. She is survived by four daughters and two sons: Connie Ward, Spanish Fork; Frances (Dale) Burt, Bear River City; Ranae Linford, North Ogden; Geniel (Kent) Van Kampen, Birmingham, Alabama; Reuben Ward “Butch” (Karin Borklund) Rhees, Orem; and Raymond (Vickie Stocks) Rhees, Littleton, Colorado. Her family includes 29 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sisters LaVene Ward and Rosene Shaw, brothers Ralph Ward and Glen Ward, two sons-in-law LeGrand Ward and Seth James Linford, and two grandchildren Jill and Kelly. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pleasant View Chapel at 900 West Pleasant View Drive (formerly Pleasant View Ist Ward). Interment, Ben Lomond/North Ogden Cemetery. Her prayers and wise council were sought often by her children and grandchildren. Her family expresses their appreciation to all of her loving friends for their kindness. He had one great-grandchild, Marshall, German He will be missed by all who knew him. She is also survived by her mother, Loris F. Allen: mother-in-law, Roxie Keita; one brother, Douglas Allen; nephew and nieces, Amos, Ginger, Katie, Andrea Trit Allen, and Josie Robison. She is survived by many family members in New York. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Mark Allen, and sister-in-law Kathy Allen. Memorial services were held Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Huntsville LDS Ist Ward, 277 S. 7400 E. Inurnment, Huntsville Cemetery. Larry Dee Hill, 68, died February 27, 2005. Frank Hodson, 91, died March 5, 2005. Dee Arvel Bingham, father of Drew (Shelly) Bingham of Ogden Canyon, 72, died March 4, 2005. 17, 2005 A public hearing was held in regards to some amendments to the current year budget. Money was transferred from the General Fund to the Water Fund and the Capital Projects Fund. The amendments will show the addition of these funds being added to both funds and subtracted from the General Fund. There were also amendments made to increase the General Sales and Usage tax, and increases were made to the Communication tax. Also, amends were made to increase the Revenue Tax. The fines and forfeitures from the court were also increased. The Council approved the amendments to the current year budget. A Committee has been put together to prepare and plan for an Arbor Day Celebration. Sandy Hunter is the chairman of this committee. One of the goals of the committee is to have Huntsville Town become a Tree City USA, which gives the town some advantage when applying for tree grants. Friday, May 6 was set aside to be the official Arbor Day Celebration for Huntsville Town. The celebration will be held in conjunction with Valley Elementary School, where the students will put on a skit and sing a song and a tree will be planted at the school. Other trees will be planted in Huntsville Town on the following Saturday. The trees will bepaid for with a grant received from Tree Ccity USA fa the Town Council Meeting. It is not a detailed copy. Rhees Valley, to Albert G. and Charlotte Woodfield Ward. She loved the beautiful valley and had a happy childhood on the family farm. She attended grade school in Liberty and North Ogden, graduated from Ogden High School and from Weber College with a teaching certificate. Thelma married Reuben G Rhees on June 17, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on May 10, Jolene Allen Probasco Ford, age 52, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2005 at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born July 8, 1952 in pies Ogden, the daughter Jolene Allen of Daniel Mark and Probasco Ford Loris Felt Allen. On May 19, 1972 she married Dennis E. Probasco in Huntsville, Utah. They later divorced. On October 22, 1996 she married Lonnie Ford in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jolene was a member of the LDS Church. She worked for the IRS as a clerk for 19 years. She loved Wendover, sewing, crocheting, and quilting. She was a wonderful mother and loved her gigrandchildren. She will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie; two daughters and one son, Michelle (Brian) Padelsky, Hooper; Lorie Probasco, Pleasant View; Mark Probasco, Harrisville; two stepchildren, Angell Maloni Ford, Missouri; Ayana Ford, Maryland; four grandchildren, Kysa 1974. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Pleasant View Ist Ward for 70 years, serving in the Primary and Young Women for many years as a teacher, counselor, and president. She also served in the stake auxiliaries, and was a Relief Society visiting teacher for 50 years. She and her eternal companion were ordinance workers in the Ogden Temple. Thelma was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and was active in PTA in the North Ogden and Wahlquist schools. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, especially her tours to the temples and church history sites. She also attended the temples in England, Germany, and Switzerland.
