Leah Tapp Britni Woodard Student Writer: Chasidy Blacksher Both of these talented Ladycats were further honored by being Volleyball named to the team. Leah Tapp is on the first team and Britni Woodard is on the second. Leah adds this year's award to her Most Valuable Player honor from last year. A big congratulation goes to the girls for bumping, setting, and spiking their way to the top. All-Sta- te South Summit High School is full of talented, hard working students. Among many of the achievers are Leah- Tapp and Britni Woodard. They recently completed a successful volleyball career. Highlights included last year's State Championship, and this years undefeated regular season. Ladycats Named All Region Student Writer: Brandi Lewis The Volleyball All Region of 2001 has been announced. There were many well deserved players voted onto this team. Players ate picked based on their contribution to their team The Ladycats had three of their players that received this recognition. The first player is Leah Tapp. Leah, was last years 2A MVP. She was the Ladycats middle blocker. She was a great player and leader for the team. The second player that was voted on is Britni Woodard. She has been an awesome player for the Ladycats for the past four years. She was a She key player, hitting also was a great leader. The team off-han- d. will miss Britni and Leah very much. The third and final player is Sara Parker. Parker was one of the most important players on the floor. She was the Ladycats setter.
