The Braves started out the game slow, turning the ball over several times with fumbles and not executing very well on offense. The first of the second half, the buffalos kicked off. Curtis I.ouder caught the ball and ran 90 yards to make a touchdown for the Braves. The last half, the freshman played hard but lost a good game. The final score was 46 to 6 in favor of the Buffalos. Runners Do Well Student Writer: Lisa Ferry Last Saturday, Sept. 8, the North Summit Cross Country team headed to the Provo Invitational and produced come extraordinary results. Johnny Rodriguez, a freshman, had a really amazing rare, lie placed fifth place over all in the BEV race against 1A through SA, and first place in 1A through 2A. Also out of all the freshmen that ran in all the races Johnny had the fastest time and received a metai Jonathan Snyder (19:48) took second place Chad Harper (21:20) took sixth place and Brett Evans (21:45) look seventh place out of 1A through 5A. They all performed well all received metals for their efforts. Kristin Snyder (22:04) second place and Lisa Ferry (27:01) eighth place ran well and also received metals for running in the girls Varsity lace. The Braves are 4-- 0 through out the year, and will play Manli next week for Homecoming. On Thursday, the Lady Braves traveled to South Summit to open Region play. The Braves had high hopes of heating their rival South Summit. The freshman got things started right by heating South Summit in three games. The JV came out ready to play. But South Summit got it started first by wining the first game. The Braves bounced buck and won the second game. The third game could have gone either way but the Braves fell short, losing by two. The Varsity Lady Braves were pumped up and ready to play. They came out strong in the first game. The Braves got on the board first. They jumped ahead by four points.
