Show The Summit County Bee September 14, 2001 Hunter Education Center Shooting Ranges Open For Free as National Hunting and Fishing Day Sept. 22 Free target shilling will be avail able on shooting ranges at the Division of Wildlife Resources two hunter education centers Sept 22, in celebration of National Hunting and Fishing Day. The only portion of the shooting ranges not open for free shooting will be the skeet. trap and sporting clay ranges. Discount rates will be offered at the Cache Valley Hunter Education Center's skeet, trap and sporting clay ranges, however, while the regular fees will be charged at the Lee Kay Center for Hunter Education. While use of the ranges wili be free Sept. 22, hearing and eye protection are required and must be purchased by those who don't bring their own. Earplugs cost .25 cents and glasses are available for $2.
