The changes are designed to accelerate state efforts to offer state government services online by 2004 and improve the efficiency of state government by developing an enterprise approach. "Utah is already a leader in offering hundreds of services online," said Leavitt. "The changes announced today will bring more government online faster, make services access easier and save money for taxpayers in the process."
