Coach Walker and his staff definitely have the Wildcats on the right track. u - t The Wildcat football program under the direction of Head Coach Garry Walker hu made a dramatic turn around in the past two seasons. The team hu gone from barely winning a game all season to barely los- scoring teams in the state all year long and that once they started to score, the points would come fast Unfortunately, Coach Walker was right All through die first quarter; the San Juans coaches had tried what had worked all year, a combination of running and passing plays no one could stop. No one that is, until the Wildcats. When the regular didnt work, the Broncos dug deep into their play book fix a few trick plays. Faster than you can say momentum shift, the Broncos had put two touchdowns on the board. The first came on a play called the fumbletooski where the quarterback pretends to drop the ball and a lineman picks it up and runs the bafi. This caught the Cats totally off guard and the Broncos were able to score. The following play wu an unexpected on sides kick which the Broncos recovered and converted into yet another acme. The Cats seemed to Ion their focus at this time aqd die Broncos were able to take advantage and continued to seme. Soon the Cats found out why the team from San Juan wu the scoring leader all season long. The Cats found themselves down 36-2- 0.
