Show the County December 4, 1998 The Summit County German Bobsled Team Thanks North Summit JPageA3 Roadshow Brings Out Talent Rebecs Richins, Jessica Ovard, Candace Richins, Jennifer Housley and Brittney Whitaker. Henefer 1st Ward p retented their Roadshow using the theme of Serving Others, written by Terri Richins snd Becky Sargent Robyn Richards wu in charge of the music, costumes by Young Women Presidency, with scenery by Young Mens Presidency. The cast of 40 wu directed by Terri Richins. Their entertainment act wu a presentation of Cowboy Poetry by Jason VanTusle. Together Again written by Colleen Simister, Wendy Robinson, Ruby STokes, Helen Adkins, Leslie Thiel, Diana Hamilton, Elizabeth .Coalville Utah Stake ward youth presented Roadshows on the 17th end 18th of November, showing off their talents of acting and singing, often hiding their identity behind makeup and costuming. Hoytsville 2nd Ward presented the play Its Attitude with S3 cast members. The play wu written by Marybcth Judd and Robyn Judd, with music by Robyn Judd, snd Sally and Grant Piercy. Scenery was done by NaVee Vernon and Camille DuCharme with Marybeth, Robyn and Angie Calderwood being the directors. Costumes were designed by Darlene Batt Their entertainment act wu a musical number, Orange Blossom Special by Jessica Wilde and Grant Piercy. Wanship's cast wu comprised of 30 youth who presented a play I Hope They Call Me On A Mission written by the Wanship Ward and Directed by Barbara Stoddard. Meredith Mosher took over music duties with Scott Simkins, David Jones, Nancy Judd and Ruthie Richins, being in charge of scenery. Their entertainment act wu pre--. seated by Steve and Julie Hussen and Dave Bates who presented a musical number. Mission Impossible wu the theme chosen by the Hoytsville 1st Ward, presented by 39 youth. It was written by Brooke Wilde and Hilary Judd, directed by Darren and Amy McMichael with music by LaVaun Vernon. Costumes were by: Millie Judd and Christiane Downward and scenery by . Mark Judd and Chris Rognan. Members of the Bishopric presented a Wizard of Oz routine, and : Melisu Wilde played a piano solo for their entertain- -, ment portion of the program. A dance routine Walk Like An Egyptian wu performed by: Martinez, Jean Wilson snd Youth leaders wu presented by the 47 youth of the Coalville 2nd Ward. They have been staying at Moores Motel in Coalville, On Monday, the team members presented Superintendent "Sam Bionquist with a plate depict ing WARTBURG bei Eisienach, a beautiful building which President Clinton visited. High School Principal Steve Carlson was presented with a candle showing a castle located about 20 miles from the above mentioned building. North Summit is happy to help the German Bobsled team said Bionquist. They are a happy Eof people and have been appreciative of to use the school facilities. . Sargent performed their entertainment act with her singing, accompanied by her guitar. 40 cut members were in the Coalville 1st Ward Play which wu titled Count Your Blessings, written by Cindy Christensen. Directors were: Debbie Wilde and Cindy Christensen. Costumes by Staff, Music by Maria Bionquist, Scenery and props by Connie Madsen. Their entertainment wu a Piano Trio number presented by Kathie Olson, Linda Vernon and Marilyn Mortenson, entitled Triple Dip. .! ... No information available from Upton Ward.
