Show Ah. II I MHMi P P P ) c fe i: I. 1 .u & . North $ raa?f Senior Citizens by Louise Wallace It'i good to be back in our build ing. Makes everyone happier and gets us into the holiday spirit as ' " l( well. Just for vour information, we only have ?0 days to go until Christmas., The way time flies, it. will be here and gone before we know it Remember how' slowly the time went when we watched for Santa to come when we were kids. ' President Delia Griffith had tier sister, Katie Ricliins visiting and Katie didn't foci like she wanted to come to Seniors so we excused Delia and Vice President Grant Geary took charge of everything. Use Center seemed even friendlier as well as wanner due to the nice fire Woodrow kept going. Two of our friends went the extra mile and treated with candy bar favors. Thanks Betty Wilde and ' Eleanor Morby for that and for tak-- 1 ing care.of tlic tables this month. Carl Copley has been helping Woodrow deliver-thtake out meals and we will miss him now that he is going back Hbme to Bellevue, WA, but we are looking forward to having his sister, Clara Ellen Shafer with us while she visits her father, C. B. Colley. Mr. Copley is 99 and a half years old now and has lead a remarkable life. Did you tuqjpen to read the nice article about him in The Park City Record last performance with solos by Karen Ballcid and Carl Copley with Esther Brown at the piano. After we went back to die card games, we could hear Mary Mair and Erma Bellizzi singing while Esther played. I think Msry and Erma are just a little bit shy. We had good meals too. Wednesday we had sweet 'n sour chicken, ham fried rice, green beans, rolls and banana pudding. we Friday hodge-podg- e had .delicious soup with biscuita, Jello salad, rice pudding and chocolate chip cookies. The only thing that would have been better was to have the soup in regular bowls in- stead of throw away ones. We have soup bowls on our want list. Maybe we should write a letter to Santa Gaus. Get well wishes go to Frank and Athaleene Moore. Both of them have had some minor surgery to them). (probably Kathleen Blonquisl is getting over a painful bout of shingles, not hurting so much but itching like crazy now. Anyway, we are happy to report they are all out and about at this time and we want them to keep .it that way. This itory told by Harold Vanselow of Lakewood, WI, could be true and surely fits our area as well as it does his. He sayi: God was standing at the Golden week?
