Utah Open Lands appreciated the support from many community members who came not only for a great hike, but to show their support of open space preservation. Many individuals made the day possible, not only through their donations for the hike, but the work put forth in initially working towards the preservation of the canyon. Utah Open Lands extends a deep sense of gratitude to Jan and Bruce 2, Manning for their donation of the watershed and their continued support of open space efforts which ripple beyond the efforts of UOL. We thank Mayor Ken Woobtenhulme, and council Doug Evans, Blake Frazier, DelRay Hatch, and Dick Woolstenhulme, whose foresight will provide pure drinking water for generations to come. Also appreciated are the efforts of Tom Clyde, Ton Peek, and Dana Williams. Making the event itself a grand success were the generous contributions of Mark, Curtis, and Clayton of Crandall Crushing, Steve Georgi Construction, Kenny Cannon and Vance Beal.
