More Fair Pictures on Pages Sluggers Do It Again The end of the summer also brings an end to another ladies soft bail year. In regulation play, the Sluggers coached by Ralph and Cheryl Jones, were the first place the third year. Members of the team are: Melanie McQueen, Milleson Gibbs, Vickie Mickel, Merilee Murdock, Jodee Rees, Lori Nielson, Heather Rees, Trisha Garn, Susie Prescott, Jennifer Morrill, Dixie Sargent, Mary Beth Judd, Shaiena Pace, and Cheryl team. They received $25. After four nights of tournament play with 12 teams entered, the Sluggers proved themselves once again and became the winners for Judd. Local Physician Participates in U Medical Student Education From Aug. through Aug. 25 of 1994, Coalville and Dr. D. Wain Allen are hosting J. Thomas Ahlquist, a third year medical student from the University of Utah School of Medicine.. Four more medical students are scheduled to work with Dr. Allen this academic Center. The Family Practice Division at the University of Utah School of Medicine sponsors a one month Family Practice Clarkship in which students select communities and family physicians in Utah and surrounding states to experience and observe medical care in the community setting. This program is part of an effort by the-- medical school to familiarize students with the way medicine is practiced outside of the University Medical Center and to encourage more students to consider preparing themselves for community practice as family physicians, especially in rural areas which are experiencing a shortage of physicians. year.
