FFA Club held their awards banquet It was held at the high school cafeteria, with sixty people in attendance. The whole reason for the dinner was to recognize the FFA member accomplishments. It took off with a bang with all of die greenhands being introduced. Members are: Cornell Atkinson, Shay Cox, Preston Fuelling, Shanna Gines, Tracey Gines, Annette Kirkham, Blake McNeil, Alisa Page, Jenny Park, Austin Prescott Joye Richards, Denise Swena, Bert Wilde, and Julie Woolstenhulme. Next they introduced the Chapter Farmers. These members are: Sheryl Anderson, Lynn Crandall, Travis Crittenden, Blake McNeil, Marci Mitchell, Lisa Sorensen and Tresa Thompson. Next, they introduced the Ag Scholars, who were: Cheryl Anderson, Preston Fuelling, Jamie Smith, Alisa Page, Travis Crittenden, Mard Mitchell, Patty Richmond, Jamie Smith, and Jessica Taylor. Alisa Page then gave a speech and Leanna Lewis was announced as the Chapter Sweetheart. They next introduced the Chapter Pariimentaiy Team. They are: Patty Sorenson, Alisa Page, Troy Prescott, Cheryl Anderson, and Polly Park. The State Farmers were next. They are: Dirk Rockhill, Tresa Thompson, and Don Wollstenhulme. The Profiencency Awards were then riven. Theve went to Patty Verlene Bushell, and Cindy Daniels . to the BYU FHA convention. South Summit Track Results Last Tuesday, April 24, 1984, the Boys Track Team headed to Coalville for a tough meet against all! North Summit, North Rich, and South Rich. The Wildcats didnt win this one, but they were always close on the heels of North . South Summit Elementary School Play Held Marie and Mervin Richins On April 26, 1984 at 7:00 P.M. at the South Summit Elementary School Media Center, the Kinder- and Second grades Care A Lot and presented, "Revolt of the Foolish Molar. This was a delightful conclusion to the Festival of the Arts Week at the Elementary School. Both plays had a very good moral to their stories and were well accepted by an overflow crowd of parents and friends. garten , The plays were under the direction of Linda Hupp, Mae Jensen,' Jean McNeil, Sandy . George and Shirley Phelps enjoyed a short vacation to St. George. They enjoyed a boat trip on Lake Powell despite the chilly weather. Louise Page has enjoyed a visit from her son Mike and his wife Hye Kyong. Mike has been stationed in Tong Du Cheon Korea for three years with the military. They will be visiting for about three weeks then report to Fort Hood Texas. Brother Delbert and Sister Ileen Richins have spent a few days in Henefer gathering their belongings before they left Monday mission the morning to in where California, headquarters they will serve for the next 18 months. A large crowd attended the wedding reception of David and Karma Bell. The newlyweds are making their home in Hoytsville. Melvin and Valeen Shaw have a new grandson.
