Bessie gave a humorous reading and there was more laughter. How very fortunate we are to have such gifted people who can entertain so well. Edna Fitzgerald displayed her great talent at the piano with a trio of selections. The Hawaiian wedding song, The Tennessee da-V- David Bell and Karma Donaldson Mr. and Mrs. Bryce F. Bell are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, David, to Karma Donaldson. They will be married in the St. George Temple on Friday the 20th of April 1984. A reception is being held that evening in their honor, at St. George, Utah. They will also be honored at a reception in the Hoytsville Cultural Hall, Saturday April 28th. David is a graduate of North Summit High School. He served an L.D.S. mission to the England Bristol Mission. Karma is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Donaldson of St. George. She graduated from Dixie High School. Both David and Karma will graduate from L.D.S. Business College this May. David and Karma would like all their friends and family to join with them and make their evening a special one. Baby Stokes Mr. and Mrs. Bill and Leisa Stokes of Oakley, Utah, are pleased to announce the birth of their second child, a daughter. Jasie Stokes was bom tuesday, ' April '3rd at Wasatch County Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and was twenty indies long. Jade has a big sister, Haley at home to love her and help take care of her. Proud grandparents are: Bill and Rita Stokes of Kamas and Larry and Patsy Wardle of Oakley. Great grandparents are: Mary Stokes of Marion, Eliza Barrus and John Springman of Murray, Verda and Lafe Culver of St. George, and Velma Hoggan of West Valley City. Baby Atkinson Bret and Christy Atkinson of Oakley are the happy parents of a baby girl bom on April 13th at 12:58 a.m. at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. A first bora, Shelby Lea weighed in at 6 lbs. 2 Lynn and Emily Sorenson of Waltz and the Theme from The Sting. We all joined in singing Happy Birthday to Elmer. Mae brought a beautifully decorated cake-- so very light and fluffy which we enjoyed with ice cream. Our sincere thanks to all who helped make this day special. Gussie Thomas displayed very pretty Easter Baskets she had made. It is strange how looking at a little Easter Basket can erase years and zoom us back to childhood and our special Easter times, so happy and fulfilling. Reminds me of the fun we had coloring eggs, not with all the varied colors and decorations of today. Our eggs were mostly dyed e ozs. and measured 1814 inches in length.
