Show Page Four - The Eureka Reporter - July 30. 1999 Andrea Lloyd City council says K towed to building permits During the July meeting of Eureka City Council, the Planning Commission reported the following: Auddie Zufelt applied for an Business License to dispense propane to small bottles, from a tank, which would be placed in his yard. He has met all codes and wiil be leasing his equipment. The Planning Commission approved Zufelt's business license on the condition that his sign for his business be approved prior to obtaining his license. The sign shall not exceed 2 feet in height and 3 feet in width, or a total of 6 square feet. City Council members approved Zufelt's business license pending approval of his sign. Myron Carpenter applied for a building permit for his Bill daughter and and Dena Green, to move their manufactured home to their property located on North Lead-villHe requested a variance on the east side of the property. Pauline Taylor, a member of the Planning Commission. stated that they had all their paperwork in order.. the only thing that hadn't been done.. is the building inspector had not inspected the home before it was moved in. However, it is newer than a 1986 and has the HUD Seal. The City Council approved building Myron Carpenters permit application with a variance on the East side. Glen Wahlberg applied for a building permit to build a carport. It will be a carport and was signed off by Craig Pew. All paperwork In-Ho- 500-gall- on son-in-la- w. e. ot ot self-supporti- ng was in order. The Council Jeremy Snell ap- proved Glen Wahlberg s building permit for a carport. Mayor Conder stated that he has received a few calls on whether or not Glen Wahlberg has a business license for the siding work he has been doing around town. The Mayor also asked Mr. Wahlberg if he had a Contractor's license. He responded that he didn't need a contractor's license, but he also didn't know that he needed a business license. Wahlberg then Andrea Denise Loyd, Jeremy inquired as to how to go about his license for a business getting siding installations. Mike and Amy Sorensen appled for a building permit for a manufactured home and garage. All paperwork was in order, but they would need a ft variance on the north and south sides of their property. There will be plenty of room on the sides. Their building permit ft Goshen and Eureka youth was approved with the variance on the north and south participated in the St. Jude sides. Childrens Research Hospital A building permit was Wheels for Life approved for a new home and held in Goshen, Utah Monday two garages (80 x 42) to be June 21, 1999. The youth earned located on the corner of Haulage $827.00 for the hospital. and Beck Street.. applied for by Robert Cunningham. Dancing from 9:00 p.m. until 12:00 midnight. ct Todd Snell 1st Place winner was Brandon Bigler of Eureka. He earned $376.11, and won a 26" Mountain Bike. 2nd Place winner was Amy Kenworthy of Goshen. She earned $123.50, and won a portable CD player. 3rd Place winner was Casey Gillen of Goshen. He earned $58.00 and won a dual cassette jam box. The names of all the sponsors were placed in a drawing for an oil painting painted by Deanna Horton. The winner was Marie Penrod of Elberta. The St. Jude Hospital was founded in 1962 by Danny Thomas. Since then it has treated more than 15,000 children with cancer or other life threatening diseases. Today there are approximately 4,000 patients in active status. Thanks Brandon Newly Remodeled Home (in Eureka) FOR RF.NT References Required Interested Tenants Bill and Joan Morris cele- (DaM Beautiful brated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on June 12, 1999. Their children hosted a party for them on July 12, 1999. There was a full day of taking pictures around town at all historical sites; places of fond memories and people. The picture-takin- g ended up with all on the front porch of the Morris home on Church Street. Later that evening, a steak fry was held at the City Park. Even though it was held outdoors, there was plenty of gold and glitter. Each place was given a place card of Bill and Joans wedding day in 1949; along with a gold cup; and then the beautiful Golden Anniversary cake. The food was great, and the view of Knightsville was wonderful. The family presented the couple with a family album of all the family, plus a Utah State Historical Plaque to be placed on their home.. making it now official that their home was placed on the States Register. Bill and Joan are the parents of three daughters: Mickie (Gay-IoThompson of Globe, AZ; Jackie (Dennis) Mitchell of Spanish Fork, UT; Amy Willis of Tuscon, AZ.
