In 1990 Carl accepted the position of Sector Field Chief of Douglas Pass Radar Site in Grand Junction, where he worked for three Joseph Kropf Joseph Kropf years. Joseph Kropf. age 87 of Provo, died December 10. 1998. He was born July 31. 1911 in Eureka. Utah to Charles and Bertha Gardner Kropf. He married Christie Nielsen Kropf on March 27. 1945. Joseph worked in the Centennial Mine in Eureka for 50 years. I Ic grew roses which he was very proud of. His greatest joy in life was sharing Carl loved fishing, camping and hiking; he was an avid poet and loved to sing and play his time with his wife, sons and grandchildren and n. camping and fishing. He is survived by his wife Chris of Provo; 1 son, James (Mickic) Kropf; a special Sheri Kropf: 6 grandsons and 12 2 sisters and I brother. Beatrice (Lcs) Mickclson of Salt Lake; Norma (Larry) Amodt of Salt Lake; and William (Edna) Day daugh-tcr-in-la- w, great-grandchildr- of Tempo. AZ. I Ic was preceded in death by 2 sons. Peter J. and Norman Kropf. and also by 3 sisters and I brother. Robert Bob Fields Robert (Bob) Fields, 80. of Eureka, Utah, died Dec. 14. 1998. He was born April 26. 1918 in Eureka to Carl and Florence Fields. He had been married to and later divorced from. Betty Hansen, Helen June Eatough and Jane McBride. He was married to Doris Jean McNeil. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by a son. Robbie Fields; two daughters, Mcrriam BIcyl and Diana King; four Laura Gillespie. Betsy Sullivan. Billy McNeil and Elva Young; 19 step-childre- n: grandchildren; 13 a sister, Virginia Horc; brothers, Howard and Ed Fields. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Hcbcr Fields. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 19. 1998 at 1 :(X) a.m. in the Eureka Memorial Building. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 15, 1998 in Colorado. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. in the Eureka, Utah Elks Lodge. Friends may call at Holladay Hills Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East. Santaquin, Thursday from 8 p.m. and Friday at the Elks Lodge one hour prior to services.
