For their stay in Eureka, they were able to do some sight seeing and participated in many planned activities at the City Park where they stayed in tents. They were also allowed to take showers at the high school, thanks to the generosity of Gordon Grimstead. They were impressed by the beautiful city of Eureka and greatly appreciated the hospitality shown them by townspeople arid leaders. Members of the Mountain Shadows 4th Ward Youth Group included Michael and Deborah Sanderson and children (Frances daughter and and grandchildren). Frances really enjoyed the youth being at her home and hated to see them leave. If you have a dog, horse, or exotic birds, you must follow the guidelines that have been written into the Ordinances. Contact Mayor Conder or any city official to find out the procedures if you are unsure. Hie Ordinances that were adopted were put to the citizens of Eureka at special meetings. There were ' no objections brought forth to change them or not adopt. At this time, procedures are being taken to set up animal control and a court to handle the complaints. ' The County Fair is considered an outstanding Fall event, honoring every exhibitor for their talent, work, effort and interest, which the public can enjoy.
