Harper Arvil Houghton Maynard Arvil Lavon Houghton, SO, of Santaquin, died March 5, llWl at a Payson hospital of a short illness. He was born Jan. 23, 1011, in Santaquin to Lyman Carter and Mary Ellen Lofgran Houghton. He married LaRuc Johnson, Aug. 29, 1935 in Payson. Their marriage was later solemnicd in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Jan. 25, 1991. L. Pollock Maynard Lewis Pollock, age 48, of Las Vegas, NV died Thursday, March 7, 1991, in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 20, 1942, in Magna, to Sherman and Ila Munson Pollack. He married Saundra Weight. He had been employed as a salesman for California Tool, and was a member of the LDS Church. He has resided in Las Vegas for the past 19 years. He is survived by his wife He was a retired employee of Las Vegas, one son and one of the Ml. States Telephone Co. daughter, Michael Pollock, He served as stake mission Sylvia Pollock, both of Las president and stake missionary. Anthony (Tony) Troy ans, 22, of Lancaster, California and Eureka, died March 13, 1991 in an industrial mining accident. He was born June 11, 1968 in Ncphi to Marclo Bogdan Evans. He married Melanie Schow, Sept. 2(1, 1986 in Eureka. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Tony received his education in Eureka schools, and was a 1986 graduate of Tintic High School. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator. He loved his family and his work and enjoyed sports, music and hunting. Survivors include his wife Melanie; daughter, Stephanie Marie Evans; mother, Marclo Evans; special grandpa, Luby Bogdan; a sister, Mrs. Brent (Tonya) Edwards; nephew, Preston Gage Edwards, all of Eureka; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Funeral services were held Monday, March 18, 1991 at the Tintic Elks Lodge No. 711 in M. Eureka, with Ronald Griggs officiating. Family prayer was by Barry Franks. Meditation music was Tonys favorite tape. A musical selecBeneath My tion, "Wind Wings," was sung by Nina Lon-gfollowed by the invocation by Ronald Griggs. Speakers were friends, Adam Riley, Don Dow and R.C. Smith. A beautiful poem by Tonys sister, Tonya, was read, and a musical selection "High Enough" was sung by Scott Green, who accompanied himself on his guitar. The service ended with "Goodby My Friend" sung by Amy J. Ruiz and Scott Green. Benediction was by Gordon Grimstcud. Dedication of the grave at Eureka City Cemetery was by Nick Castlelon.
