Show Elks hold special flog program flo honor flog doy On June 14th, Tintic BPO Elks 711 held their annual Flag Day Service. The flag rit- ual was performed by the chair officers, who gave a beautiful and informative history of the American Flag as it evolved from the Flag of England in the late 1700s to the present and ar flag. 13-stri- pe Eight different flags that have represented our country were presented by local members of Boy Scout Troop 111 and Cub Scout Pack 3111. Fishing report Central Region Lake Powell - Stripers are feeding on shad in the backs of canyons. Moki Canyon and Good Hope Bay are providin the best action. Other goo areas include White and Farley Canyons, Rencon and the upper San Juan. The shad spawn is in full swing and bait balls have been reported. Spawning shad will be found in turbid water at the backs of canyons. Stripers are holding about three quarters of the way up the same canyons. Anglers should use small, ing lures.
