Evan Director Hanson, Panoramaland and Basil Lay, Commissioner from Piute County and Chairman of Panoramaland, met with the commission. Mr. Hansqn reported that the first film on Panoramaland has been finished and plans have been made to make the film available to motels in the area for showing. Homer Horton, representing Dell Ashworth & Associates, expressed the need to get bids for floor coverings for the new county complex. Bids will be asked for with the majority of the floor coverings being carpet. The commission decided to accept the bid from George Atkins Roofing for $4U,00ti to do a complete new roof on the old high school building. Robert Macdonald, representing Mountain Bell, participate in the funding of legal research which will ascertain the feasibility of some future litigation concerning the manner and actual assessment of properties assessed by the State Tax Commission. The commission also agreed to send $500 with the agreement. In final business, the audit at the hospital was discussed by the comto discussed with the commissioners, various telephone systems which could be installed in the new building. Commissioners voted in favor of adopting a resolution to borrow $250,000 in tax anticipation bonds. Larry R. Denham, a representative of Burrows, Smith & Company, met missioners; with the commission concerning a bond election that will be necessary to pay the debt incurred in termination of the management contract with Advanced Health Systems for management of the Juab County Hospital. A contract with Burrows, Smith & Company was signed, whereby they will handle the Bob Ladenburger, Financial Manager for Advanced Health Systems; John McClain, hospital administrator; and Howard D. Sherwood, CPA. Everything in the audit has been agreed upon by the auditor for the county and AHS, with the exception of the Accounts Receivable.
