The Stewart brothers remember fish fries held between 1934 and 1939 along the Green River near Jensen in which a seine would be used to catch the fish. (A seine is a large net with sinkers on one edge and floats on the other that hangs vertically in the water and is used to enclose fish when its ends are pulled together or are drawn ashore.) There were five or six families there so it would be a sizeable pack, Max said. And the guys seined enough fish so that there was an abundance, and there was some left over that they could take home. Max recalls the taste of pikeminnow as somewhere between salmon and halibut, and he would like to be able to take some home for dinner some day. The population is increasing and it is hoped that there will be enough within five to six years that sportsmen will be allowed to keep a few. Dale recalls a squawflsh catch without ever touching bait or a hook. Wed go fishing up Green River Gorge, end my dad would set out about eight Betlines. (Setline is a long heavy fishing line to which several hooks are attached in series.) His dad said, Son, why dont you pull that in. I think it gut the bait. Dale did what he was told and quickly pulled the line in. Its a good treatment and it works for most people. It is pretty expensive because it comes in a vial that has to be mixed, detailed Blake. After the toxin is mixed the mixture expires within a few weeks, so Blake tries to schedule patients so they can take advantage of the toxin after it is mixed. It hasnt been tested on pregnant women. It shouldnt be used by someone who is planning on getting pregnant in the next six months, warned Teem. "Whenever you have an injection of any kind there is the possibility of an allergic reaction. It is rare with this, but possible, she continued. Teem has been giving other types of injections for 20 years and has been teaching others how to give shots for ten yeeys, so she just needed a few days of specialized training in Botox injections from Basalt, Colorado physician Mark Dahlstom to feel confident about performing the procedure. fishingentlnisiastB and Harward Irrifor gation Systems donated the Con Amore students.
