The Senior dinner that was held at the Crossroad Center on Tuesday, Dec. 8 was veiy good. They had a nice meal and a nice program. Its nice to go to Roosevelt for a meal every week. Edwin Dee Evans, son of Fred and Angcline, has been called to serve in the Birmingham, Alabama mission. He will give his farewell talk in the Bridgeland ward on Dec. 30 at 10 a.m. Becky Walton flew back to Sumter, South Carolina to spend the holidays with her sister, Susan Boothe, and her family. Becky visited with her grandson, Kenny Mitchell Boothe. Freda and John Davies attended the graveside services for her brother just younger than Freda on Wednesday, Dec. IB. He was Thomas Deloy Beal. He was laid to rest in the Strawberry Cemetery. Christine Nation spent the Christmas holidays up in Logan with her daughter. Palsy Marx, and her family. Viola Bleazard spent the Christmas holidays up in Roy with herdaughter, Lois and Joe Rogers and family. The Christmas dinner and December birthdays were held at the Gateway Center on Dec. 20. We had a great time, and beautiful dinner and Iota and lots of nice gifts for everyone. We were also entertained with nice song and music. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas andaveiy Happy New Year. Emmett and Dorothy Evans drove up to Preston, Idaho, where they attended a Christmas party and an 88111 hi rt hdav for Dorothy's mother, Nona Golightly. They all attended the celebration in the church. Dorothy's mother had IBB quilts she had made over this last year so each one could have a quilt. There were 181 family members who attended. Orinda Gee and Kathy Lefler both at tended the Christ mas party the they had on F ridny, Dec. 21 at theStewart 's Carp Center in Roosevelt.
