Dirty clothing in the locker was haunting me and so I dreamed that I washed them. Only problem was that the next time I popped open the locker while dreaming I discovered that I led them home. I didnt need one-tim- e Union wrestling coach Gerald Crittenden to grade me do wn for doing mat work in my street clothes, and so I visited the scene of Union gym room, the crime-t- he which seemed to solve the problem. The next time I took forty winks my UHS shorts, shoes and unmentionables were back in their proper place. Now I can sleep well knowing I won't be balled out by my former Roosevelt Junior High School gym teacher, Burr Eldredge. I still havent forgotten the day, my locker friend or is it a fiend stole my gym shoes and then as extra insult swiped the shoe laces on my backup pair. I had to do the long jump where my shoes out jumped my feet in the competition. I interviewed Mickey Man tie, New Do Some dreams just never go away, and especially onee involvingsports. The nightmare was that my socks, and assorted other shorts, things had never led the locker. I had to remove the clothes or I was going to lie cussed out by coaches, Clary Dclniige (basket bull coach, but could have liccn a wrestling coach d lie to si mie occasional hand-to-lian- d tussles with P.E. kids) or Jack llaiinum, old stone face, who had the same expnssioii on his luce. Now I do the same thingfbr the Uintah Basin Standard, but with five high schools as compared to one in Vernal. The problem is that I have been dreamingthat I'm writing sports for bothnewspapersatthesametime.lt isntcompletely impossible since the Standard is printed on Monday and the Express late Tuesdayearly Wednesday. There is no problem if I'mcoveringUnionva.Uintah, butin my dream I am trying to figure out how I'm going to snap photos when Union and Uintah are playing home games the same day and same time. Another problem is that I can never find my time card. It keeps disappearing. I decided to take a visit to the Vernal Express after doing my Monday morning duties at the Standard hoping that the trek will end the depressing dream. I checked out my old office, which was right next to the bath room, layout room plus my old desk. I mainly returned to see for myself that I still wasnt working there. I didnt see my done, and unless he was on a break Im hoping that the double duty dream is gone for good.
