Show Miss Uintah Basin Pageant Emcees The Uintah Basin is as to have this year's Miss UB1C proud Master of Ceremonies. Wade Jessen. A native of the Uintah Basin, Wade got his start at KNEU during high school with uncle Fred Brown. He hit the big time working for KSOP radio station in Salt Lake after graduating from Attamont High, and then moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 1987. Upon arriving in Nashville, the country music capitol of the world. Wade began working at WSM radio, the interna tionally known home of the 'Grand Ole Opry, serving as WSM Radio stations afternoon personality and music director. He departed the radio station 5 years ago and began working at Billboard Magazine and its sister publication. Country Airplay Monitor, and was honored as its medium market Music Director of the Year. At the end of that year. Billboard and Country Airplay Monitor tapped Wade to direct its country and WADE JESSEN Christian , music chart activities. As part of his managerial duties, at Billboard's Nashville bureau, Wade authors two d weekly and 'Country Confidential. Uintah Basin welcomes him back as part of the UBIC celebration.
