Roosevelt East will play Price B or Duchesne in its second game, Thursday. Price B is from the Northern Heights League. Games for at the north Price Field are: minor league, July 12, Vernal Red vs. Green River, 3 p.m.; the first Rachelt nament play for Region B Western Boys Baseball Association (WBBA) with games scheduled to begin Monday, July 12. The north Price field in the Northern Heights league and the southside diamond of the Price National League will also host tournament games as well. In fact, the largest breeding colony of Ospreys breed and raise their young along the shores of Flaming Gorge Reservoir. On July 10, between 8 a.m. and noon, the Utah Diviaion of Wildlife Resources will bout an Ox prey Watch at the Flaming Gorge Dam Visitor Center parking area. The Osprey Watch is open to the public. Division personnel will set up displays and spotting scopes to help viewers see and learn about the life history of these unusual birds. Members from the Raptor Recovery Center will also be on hand with some of their live birds of prey. Swimming lessons were witnessed on Tuesday, June 29, and instructors such as Kirk Wentworth, Guy Coleman, Scott Riser and others were busy with swimmers from preschool ago to the junior high schoolhigh school level. Coleman and Wentworth instructed students in the shallow water with Riser working on diving andvarious other skills with advanced swimmers in tha deep end. The 4-- 5 year old swimmers had fun with a few toys for their occasional use as they become adjusted to tho water. Students are also taught appropriate safety skills. Soms three-yeolds art allowed in the preschool program if they have completed a mom and tot program. Lessons contain levels from one to seven as well as lifeguard training. Level 1 is basically a class for 5-- 7 year olds, who have never had lessons before, and Level 2 focuses on fundamental skills. Students in Level 3 learn to coordinate the front and back crawls, and are introduced to the backstroke. Level 4 has students developing their strokes and swimming greater distances.
