Show 1 4 Duchesne FHA Chapter brings home "Star Status" from state competition The Annual Utah Homemakers of- - Future America competition was held Mach 14 -IS at the Salt Palace in Salt City. Twenty-on-e members from the Duchesne High School chapter attended the convention accompanied by parent chaperons Jamie Park, Beverly Towe and requirements as being active in thor aica activities, completing three service projects, having members compete in Students Taking Action of Recognition events, complete Itower of One program, increase membership and be active in their community and school. Utah gets $1 million literacy grant is Senator Bab Bennett pleased to announce that the Department of Education has awarded a $1 million grant to Utah, one of the first eight states to receive such a grant under the new Technology Literacy Challenge Fund. "We are fortunate, in Utah, 10 and Leavitt Governor have educators with the foresight to look into the future of eduotion and invest in the kind of resources and technology that will benefit our children, Bennett said.
