Plume: ROOSEVELT Former New York CityNew Jersey area native, Dave Sterner, 34, is the new pastor at Roosevelt Christian Assembly, where he has served for the past tiro months. Sterner was born in New York City, but grew up in New Jersey. He was graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in English. He said, "I came out West to be a cowboy in Wyoming. I was a ranch cowboy where I spent ten hours a day in the saddle. During college summertime breaks 1 worked out West at a dude ranch.11 Sterner taught English in . years as a ranch hand, and Sterner said, "It was during that time that I committed my lift to Jesus Christ.
