November 8, 1994 County Plan moving forward, focusing on top priorities FAC members work to find ways By Karla Cox The Duchesne County Flan initiated Advisory Committee, about two years ago by ths County Commission, is working to achieve one meaningful goals regarding where the county is going, and how it will get then. Ths county-wid- e strategic planning effort ia underway in conjunction with several other counties in ths state. The effort is directed by Bear West, a consulting firm hind by these counties and contracted by the state. Ralph Becker of Bear Wert said Duchesne, Uintah, Daggett, Carbon and Emery Counties an all currently developing comprehensive plans this year, but the action really began with a public forum two years ago, whan a brainstorming session identified high priority issues in ths county.
