the lower mammoth the east drift upon the 3 00 foot lev el of the low er mammoth ia fit fi t the point where the ore should be en countered and in the meantime anoh er drift is following a stringer ol 01 ore to the south hen the connect tion is made with the ore upon the 1700 foot lev el it will mean that the company has a continuous ore channel extending from the 1400 lev el dow u upon the 1650 this same ore was en countered and in running through it one shipment was taken out this shipment brought the company i nice piece of money in fact the ore w about the best that has been shii pe 1 from the mine in the i abt few ears no effort was made to put any moie of this ore on the market because of the unsatisfactory freight rate but as as the ore 14 reached upon the 1 00 foot le el there will be something doing it the lower mammoth the thing that will be done will be the installing of better machinery at the present time it is impossible to operate the hoist and the machine drills at the sime time and consequently it is a difficult matter to carry on debol n ent work and at the same time keep the output of the mine up to the stand aid
