Mickeys birthday party Nine children form the Uintah Basin were invited to attend Mickey Mouses 65th Birthday Disney Land: Jason Anderson, Shelly Anderson, Brandon Anderson, Brandon Ashmore, Justin Bear, Chad Gault, Jason Jorgenson, Summer McSheny and Sandi Tanner. The children, "Mickeys Birthday Kids!", were diildren from around the world: the USA, Canada, Mexico, South America, Brazil, Africa, Asia, Europe, China, Russia, Australia and many other places. Over 100 children went from Utah. In cooperation with Utah Children and Disney Land, the Family Support Crater was able to send nine deserving children and a chaperone, Katy Barton. The children and Ms. Barton left early Wednesday morning on November 17 for the Salt Lake airport For most of the children, it was their first time on an airplane. That evening they were treated to a banquet with all the Disney Characters. The children were in for a treat the next morning at Disney Land television. Many Utah rBeidmts back home, saw their smiling face later that evening. Our little celebrities eqjoyed a parade in which they participated. At seven in the evening the park was ckwed to the public and Mukeyh party goers enjoyed full access to entire park no lines! Mountain and Splash Mountain the Basin kids favorites. The next morning it was a quick trip back to Disney Land and a final rids on Splash Mountain. The kids left the park for their waiting plane and flew back to Salt Lake.
