The Coloradp bunch toppled (he Roosevelt team, By Aldon Rachele The Union Lady Cougars are a young and inexperienced team and home ball games gave the Roosevelt crew an opportunity to gain same valuable time out on the court Unfortunately, one game resulted in a three-poiloss by the Union crew to Ben Lomond, Friday and the other one, a lopsided setback to Grand Junction, Colorado, Saturday. The Cougar JV team defeated Ben Lomond and suffered a close loss to Grand Junction. Quarter scores were: 114-2- 4. Jill Schaefer played grand ball for Grand Junction as she scared 30 points. She tossed in 13 field goals and hit 4 out of 5 free throws. Jamie Teeters added 19. Heather Blackburn tossed in 12 and Jennifer Hannah 11. The Union Cougars will host Altamont, Tuesday, December 6 and will travel to Coalville for a December 12 game against North 26-- 5, and 114-2Ward led Union with five points.
