Moan Lake filed its Ap- plication with the Utah Public Service Commission for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to allow Moon Lake to exclusively provide electric utility service within an area identified as the Joint Area in die Application, as well as within certain portions of Utah Powers existing exclusive service territory adjacent to the current ex- clusive service territory of Moon Lake. Utah Power intervened and protested Moon Lake's Application. Moon Lake andUtah Power have now reached agreement on a resolution of the matters in dispute subject to review and approval of the commission and a determination by the Commission that theresolution of this disputcki proposed is in die public interest.
