Every visit to Mrs. Lloyd, either on the phone of in person at her home is an uplifting experience. She is always able to share a laugh and has a certain knack of making every single person feel special. An excellent code, you can sometimes smell her homemade bread clear out on the sidewalk, and that is just one of her many cooking specialties. She is a meticulous gardener and shares beautiful produce and flowers from her yard. Mrs. Lloyd will be remembered by many far the years she spent some time ago in the school lunch program in our Rooaevelt schools. Affectionately known aa "Grandma Lloyd" by hundred! of school children, she has also devoted many volunteer hours to our Rooaevelt schools during the school months, tutoring the youngsters in reading and other subjects. Mrs. Lloyd is fortunate to also have a very wonderful family who visits her often and it is easy to see why they are all anxious to come to her home.
