He was a teacher for 42 years, touching in the Cranite and Duchesne School districts. He was one of the members of the organizing group, which established the Uintah basin Telephone Association, and served in the capacity of Secretary and Director for the Association, for its first 13 years. He was married to Lola Crosby on October 15, 1933. They have 5 children, Don and Janeen Evans, Standing; Utah. Ken and Sheila Lind ofVemal, Utah. Dewayne and Karen has been a resident of Duchesne County ainca age one month. The county and cities have suffered because of the Tribal members not paying sales tax. I would approach Congress for payment to the county in lieu of taxes.
