Those attending included l'ortor's daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilbert, Othellow, Wash.; Chyrl Park, Bountiful; Saundru and Randal Taylor, Phoenix, Aria.; sons, Reid and Nelva Merrell, American Fork, and Glade and Irene Merrell, Kexl)crg, Idaho; a brother, LaVor Merrill; sisters, Lucille Winkler, iiluebcll: Elva Man wearing, Vernal; Florence Neil son, Fairview; Winnona and William Wonnocot, Wilma St. George; a sister-in-laMerrell, Salt Lake, and son, Kevin of Georgia; LaMar and Lillian Larson, Oak City; Udell Winkler and Cleona Remington, HluelMill; Dean and Afton Christensen, lrovo; Miles and Norma neices and Karl, Duchesne; Mr. and Beth Duke, nephews, Mrs. Howard Todd, Shanale L. and Iaulinu Winkler, Bluebell; Mr. and Mrs. Rush Loertcher and Verdun and Marilyn Manwaring. The Dean Petersons had as company Friday from Salt Lake Dean's sister, Marilyn, and Dr. - Moons and family, and Leon Moon, were all in South Jordan where they spent Thanksgiving with a sister, Norma and Richard Powell. e Janet and Howard Cowan had their family home for Thanksgiving, including Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Owens and family, American Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Scott Cowan and family, Cortez, Marsh Poulson and their son and his wife. Also they had three other sons with them. Maxine and Richard Jensen, Provo, and their family, were out and spend Thanksgiving with her folks, Or and Inez Swasey. Pam and Dean Peterson'B home was the setting of a Thanksgiving dinner. Those present were the Bill Tollefsons, the Harold Gees, Scott and Leslie Peterson of Vernal, Anna Peterson, Provo, and Anna's boyfriend, David Standing, Fresno, Calif. Josephene and Wayne VanDee-Graf- f, Colexico, Calif., spent Thanksgiving with their son, Wayne, Jr., and his family in Bountiful. They had a family reunion in Ogden for the Van Dee Graffs Friday, then they came to Duchesne where they visited with Josie's sister and brother, George Marett and Veva Tollefson. They all visited with her father, Marvell Marett, in the care center in Roosevelt before they left for California. e Ralph and Thelda Halstead, and Terrie and Lynn Moon spent Thanksgiving day with and attended the viewing for Walter Nelson in Duchesne. Kitty and John Manning, Salt Lake, were out over the Thanksgiving weekend, visiting with Kitty's folks, Connie and Arnold week Robbins. e Rick and Joy Robbins took their baby boy, Skyler, for his check-up- . They were all surprised at the weight he had gained and he had also grown in length. Their baby girl, Erica, is still in the hospital. e George and Edyth Marett spent Thanksgiving in Farming-toat the home of their daughter Julie and Max Forbush and family. e Larry and Bonnie Thomas, Sand Point, Idaho, and Patsey then-daughte- Lorna McKee Thelma Taylor left Wednesday evening with her granddaughter Dana McKee for New Mexico where she will visit her daughcr Jolccn and she will then acenmpnny her mother to El Paso, Texas where they spent the Thanksgiving holiday with Francis and Betty Bowden and family. and their daughter, JoAnn Colo.; Cowan, Vernal. e John and Freda Davies had their daughter Claudia Cary and her four sons and a friend home from Anaheim, Calif., for Thanksgiving. Gary and Jessie Rowley, Craig, Colo., were over Friday of last Burma Jean and Neal Moon in Pleasant Valley. Eurma Jean is much improved. Wayne Moon, son of Marilyn and Allen Moon, was home from Price over the holidays. The Allen Moon, Clinton TRIDELL NEWS and Dale Tewalt, Craig, Colo., Thanksgiving with their parents, Elmer and Mary Thomas. The Elmer Thomas family had a large crowd present at their home for Thanksgiving, including Dave and Ruby Thomas, Ruby's grandchildren, Kay Coffen and two children, San Ramo, Calif.; Terrie Scott, Concord, Calif.; Vickie Voss, Plea sen-toCalif.; Gloria and Gary Thomas, Dennis and Sherrie Thomas and family, and Steve Casey. were all here spending n Larry and Bonnie Thomas and Patsey Tewalt spent four days the Elmer Thomas visiting family. This was the first time their whole family had been together for several years. Eugene Williams and family from Perron, l'tah spent the Thanksgiving holiday with the Gene Willis Family. All of the Lester Bartlett family were together for the Thanksgiving holiday having their Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Janet and McNeil Bartlett. Those traveling to Ih here were Mr. and Mrs. Val Evans and family, Mr. and Mrs. Milo Webb, Sundy, Utah and Mr. and Mrs. Rod Millett, Midvale, Utah. Dorie and Kevin Woollard spent the Thanksgiving weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Woolard and family. Tummy Goodrich who is attending college in Cedar City spent the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Page. Word was received Saturday morning of the death of Thora Harvey McConkie 85 of Ballard. Mr. and Mrs. McConkie lived in Tridell for many years and raised their family here. The funeral was held in the Ballard Church Monday at 11:00 am with burial in the Tridell Cemetery. A large number of people from here attended the services. Maude Harvey Boyes, Denver, Colorado spent Monday night with Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Simmons. She came to attend the funeral of her sister Thora. Erik Merkley, student at RYU spent the holidays with his parents, Errol and Janet Merkley. Family members enjoying Thanksgiving at the Clyde Merkley home were Mr. und Mrs. Gordon Merkley, Fruita, ColorSdn, Mr. Und Mrs. Lynn Richards and Jerry Mantua, Utah and Mr. and Mrs. Errol Merkley and family. ' Jaycina Wilson had her tonsils removed Monday November 23 at the Duchesne County Hospital. She went back to cuHcge Wednesday December 2 at Utah State in Ijogan. and family spent the Thanksgiving holidays at the home of his parents in Salt Dike. Joshua Brinkerhoff broke his arm recently while . on the play ground at Lapoint school. Mr. and Mrs. J. I). Hall, Malta, Idaho spent a week at the home of Merlin and Estella McKee. The Hulls arc the parents of Mrs. McKee. Suctlc and Michelle McKee, both students at Utah State in luigari spent the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ron McKee. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Goodrich and family Ikiunliful and Julie Ilaslem spent the holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ilaslem and the Rue Goodrich's. Darwin MrKee returned Saturday from a two week trip to Tonga. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. DeVon McKee look him to Ft. Douglas, Tuesday morning where he entered military services.
