Star teams from Wellington, Price, Helper and Ferron are All Altamont team competing with-thfor the championship. . Games are scheduled for 8 and 5 p.m. each day through Friday, with the championship games on Friday. The tournament is a double For those who attend the games, concession stands will be open throughout the week, with a of sandwiches and snack foods available. It will follow the parade route down main street -- hour prior to the race. Medals will be awarded to the first place runner in each age group. Ribbons will be awarded to 2nd and 8rd place finishers in each age group. They will be competing in the finals on July 27 through August 2 in Pueblo, Colorado. Brad Jenkins of Roosevelt qualified in calf roping. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jenkins. Bryan Richens of Vernal qualified in bull riding. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Richens. Jodi Thomas of Fruitland qualified in pole bending. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Thomas.
