If nothing else it helped the spring crops that have already been planted. The third term Honor Roll has been released by Union High School administration. The criteria for this honor is that students must achieve a grade point average of 3.65, with no grades of incomplete, and must carry a schedule which includes at least three solid academic classes. With four games each evening, there has been lots of activity all around. Don Fillingim. our Parks ft Recreation Director, and his wife Cindie, deserve a big Gold Star for all their effort put in to making the event a success. Its a much bigger job than most people think. Its one of those things where Everybody wants to go to Heaven, but nobody wants to die. Everybody wants a tournament, but nobody wants to help put it on. I think that everyone, including myself, should put forth a little bit more effort to help Don and Cindie on these recreation programs that are so important to the town.
