Degree from Utah State University through the extension services of the Uintah Basin in 1978 and is currently working on her Masters Degree in Business Education. Joliet is the daughter of Clara Ankerpont. She has been very active in school activities which included drill team at West Junior High and treasurer of the Indian Club. She is also active in the Spanish Chib, Pep Club and Friendship Club at Union, as well as being a member of the volleyball team. She likes all kinds of sports, as well as doing bead work and painting ceramics. After graduation from Union High School she would like to go to college and continue her education. She would like to work for the Ute Tribe in the personnel department Some of her work experience includes working under Wilburta Cueh in the personnel department and for the Forestry department and the labor force group. Brent Powell, son of Boyd and Dorothy Powell, is a junior at Union. He has been active in church basketball and was also a member of Union's football team. He enjoys his welding class st the vocstionsl center because he is learning a skill and receives s lot of assistance from his instructor, Irvin Huston.
