P.M. 21 July 15 Two Duchesne County members Amy Dennis, Roosevelt, and Jeff Hanke, Altamont. were chosen to attend a Western Regional Leadership Conference at Lake Tahoe, Nevada. These young leaders, along with members from other counties in Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona and Oregon, spent a week learning energy conservation methods and leadership skills. First attendant waa Arlene Parry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Parry. Second attendant was Lias Shiner, daughter of Billie and Shirley Shiner. Arlene Parry also won Mias Congeniality. The Murphy's Lynne Murphy, has been called to serve in the Austria Vienna mission. She ia the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Murphy and will enter the MIC July 16. e Todd Millett, who has recently returned from serving an LDS mission at the Germany Dussel-dor- f mission, gave his report Sunday in Sacrament meeting. His sister, Julie MilletL played a piano solo. Ed Bench waa released as Sunday school teacher. Mr. and Mrs. Don Moat were sustained aa teacher. Travis Peatross was passed on to be ordained to the office of a teacher in the Priesthood. e Sharon Neilson has home returned after spending some time at St. Mark's Hospital Mr. and Mra. Gary Taylor and family, Roy, are visitors this week of her mother, Lila Richens. Valeen Holgate came out Friday, July 3, to get her mother-in-law- , Nona Holgate. On July 4 they attended the West Jordan parade and celebration. That evening they attended the Osmond Freedom Festival at Provo. On Monday they traveled to Burley, Ida., where they joined Bud Holgate for a couple of days. She came home with Brent and Connie Holgate. members at the Senior Center were treated to a performance by country recording artist Gidget Calhoun. The Senior Citizen are going to the Manti Pageant July They are staying overnight on the 15th and then going through the Fairview Museum on their return trip home.
