Due to the high winds and snow, the road was closed over the mountains and she had to wait for 10 hours before she arrived in Salt Lake at 2 a.m. e Friday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler and Pauline drove to Salt Lake and spent the night with Mrs. Mamie Winkler. Saturday they accompanied Blanch Simple, Canada, through the Salt Lake Temple. They returned home Saturday Winkevening. While the lers were in the Salt T.kn Temple they met Cliff and Leah Lisonbee who were going through for the first time. Cliff and Leah .are former Bluebell residents, now living in Heber, Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee accompanied them. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Seeley and Kaye and Mrs. Marlene Reidhead ind Melissa, and Mr. and Mra. Kirk Seeley and boys, drove to the Salt Lake airport early Wednesday morning to see their son and brother. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple April 26, 1968. Mr. Gardner, who was a farmer and rancher in Neola and Roosevelt retired in 1969 and moved to Tooele. He was a WW I U.S. Army vet- eran. Burial was at Ft. National Rosecrans Cemetery, San Diego. Lawrence Constantine Wall, Jr. 68, died Jan. 17 of cancer. Mr. Wall was born April 2, 1911 in Lyman, Wya, to Lawrence C. and Antonette Benjamin-se- n Wail He married Madge King Sept. 9, 1940, in Price Utah. The marriage was soleminized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Nov. 20, 1944. Mr. Wall left ranching and Randlett in 1952 to move lo Indio, Calif., where he was employed by Scars. He was active in the LDS Church, serving as First Counselor in the DLstricl Presidency and as Branch President of the India Calif. Branch. He worked with Bov Clubs. Scouts and In 1969. Mr. Wall moved back to Roosevelt. Mr. Wall and his wife were the first missionaries to serve in the Randlett Indian Mission. Since returning to the area, Mr. Wall has been engaged in sheep ranching. Survivors include his wife, Madge; daughter, Mrs. William (Patricia) Devenish, Orem; sons, John L. Wall, Falls Church, Va.; Joseph K. Wall and James L. Wall Logan; brothers and sisters, Ralph H. Wall Soldata, Alaska;, Willard 0. Wall; Ruth A. WaU, San Francisca Calif.; and Wanda Rossen, South Gate, Calif. Mr. Wall had five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 21, in the Roosevelt LDS First Ward Chapel with Bishop John B. Gale officiating. The prelude and postlude were by Elaine Hullinger. James L. WaU gave the opening prayer. 4-- Musical selections were by Lanis Dastrup, Kay Madsen, Noreen Roberts, Leonard Ferguson, David Holmes, Brad Gale, Rick Gale and Ray Grant.
