NOTICE united states land office bait lake city utah april 2 1901 to whom it may intern notice is hereby given that ahe bbate of utah has file 1 in this office a list no 29 of lands ted by the said bbate for the use of public boi dinga onder section 7 of the act of congress approved july 16 1894 the following embraced in said list are in a p containing mineral claims of record viz lots 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 az 14 15 16 17 18 and the E M 8 1 see 14 1 11 S 2 W salt lake meridian A copy said list so far as it relates to said tracts by subdivisions has been conspicuously posted in anis office for inspection by any person inter ested and by the pubic generally genei ally within tue sixty days following the date of th s notice anler tal instructions of november 27 1896 23 L D protests or contests against the claim of the state to any of the tracts or subdivisions hereinbefore described on the ground that the same is more valuable for mineral than for agricultural purposes will be aid noted for report to the genera land office at wash agton D failure so to i cotest or contest within the time specified will be considered sufficient evidence of the non mineral eha acter of the tracts and the selection thereof being otherwise free from objection will be recommended for approval D hobba register GEO A receiver first publication april 6 1906
