Show t M Classic films to' be shown in Duchesne ' Humphrey Bogart will be In Duchesne asking 8am to play It again. Also expected in the near future will be appearances by Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Charlie Chaplin, W.C.Fields, Abbot A Costello, Laurel & Hardy, Robert Montgomery, Gary Cooper, Grace Kelly, Boris Karloff, Peter Lorre, Lon Chaney, Leonard Nimoy, William Schattner and the Marx Brothers. They wont be here in person, but will be appearing in some of their best loved films," announced Glen Taylor, Community School director. The films wQl be shown in a new Community Education Class starting Thursday, Nov. 16, and continuing on every third Thursday through April. John Foster and Stephen Greenwood will conduct the clssa and will present background material on the seven movies. There win be a $6 DO fee to attend the six evenings. Foster and Greenwood said they are anticipating a large turn out from the community, due to the nature of the films. All showings will take place in the Duchesne elementary room at 7:80 p.m. The fee may be paid in advance to Glen Taylor or Jerry Chapman, or may be paid on the first evening at the door. multi-purpo- Legion sets Veterans day dinner The American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary of Post 22 in Duchesne are sponsoring a Veterans Day dinner and dance Saturday, Nov. 11 at 7:80 p.m. The event will be held at the Legion Hall in Duchesne. World War I veterans are invited to attend as special guests of the poet at no charge. A donation for the complete-roas- t beef dinner is asked at $8.00 per person. The public is invited to attend.
