The performances are scheduled July 13, 14, and 15 and July 18 through 22. Apwards of 125,000 people, both members of the LDS Church and from all over the United states and many foreign countries, are expected to attend the pageant over the eight-nigrun. Produced by the Manti Region of the church, the pageant portrays the story of the history and theology of the Mormon people, includng scenes from the early days of the church and from the Book of Mormon. The cast includes approximately 400 actors backed by another 800 persons in supporting services. The pageant is presented free to the public and all members at the production are unpaid volunteers. .
