| Show A VOTE OF THANKS while every resident on the east side of bear river is congratulating himself over the promised sugar factory it would be well to just give a vote of thanks to the individuals directly responsible for that promised blessing the salt lake security trust company are undoubtedly entitled to tile the lions share of credit for that concern was first in the field with its offer to erect it a factory it the farmers would grow the beets they were succeeding admirably with signing up the farmers when alien the utah idaho sugar company declared its intention to erect a factory which was sufficient tor for the other people so they withdrew and turned over their contracts to the sugar company there would doubtless have been a factory erect erected ezi on this side of the river at some future time but if it had not been tor for the activities of the salt lake security trust co it is very doubtful it if the factory would have been promised for next neit year the action of the meeting at Ilone honeyville last saturday in tendering a hearty vote of thanks to the first promoters and also a vote of thanks to 0 the sugar company tor for its action in taking the matter off the hands ot of the other people was timely and deserved |
