High on the list of problems facing society is the soaring cost of health care. As costs rise, fewer people can afford adequate health care. Also, as these costs rise, more of the financial burden is shifted onto those able to pay, and to public payers (taxpayers). The need to find measures to curb the rise in health care costs is crucial. I have been in the health care service for the past third of a century, and I am well aware of the problems and the situations causing them. Streamlining the means of health care delivery can make it much actually goes to public benefit. I vow not to accept campaign contributions from any special interest groups. I am beholden only to the citizens of the district, not to special interest groups. I am a retired physician. I was born and raised in Logan, Utah and graduated from Utah State University mqjoring in chemistry. I served in the U.S. Army as a cryptographer. In 1959 I was awarded an M.D. degree by the George Washington University School of Medicine.
