While Hannah Boyle, a second grade student at Monticello Elementary, shows off her Reflections contest photos. Eight students from Monticello Elementary did well in region competition, winning Awards of Merit and advancing to the state competition. Regional winners include Rylan Goodwine, Scott Reeve, and Teresa Francom in visual arts; Hannah Boyle, Alison Montgomery, and Marci Nielson in literature; Hannah Boyle and Kelsey Montgomery in photography; and Kelley Argyle in music. Hannah received an Award of Merit for her photography in the state contest. She is Staff photo the daughter of Lynda and Bill Boyle. Moab Music Festival has June The Moab Music Festival will present two concerts in June 2002. These concerts, sponsored by a grant from the Canyonlands Region Travel Council to promote tourism in will take place the on June 10 at Star Hall in Moab, Utah and June 11 at the College of Eastern Utahs Peroff-seaso- n, 11 at NAU, she was on the Deans List each term. Katy is a 1998 graduate of San Juan High. Kristina Carson graduated from Yavapai College on May Recent graduates from Utah State University this month are Autumn and Theron Jeppson. Autumn graduated Cum Laude with a BS degree in Parks and Recreation, and Theron graduated with a BS in Health Education. They are now living in Las Vegas, where Theron will complete a hospital internship, and Autumn will work for the city's recreation department. In the fall Theron will begin a Masters program at UNLV. The sisters are the daughters of Katy Carson of Bluff and of Ruben Carson of Bluff. Their families are very proud of their accomplishments. All motivation is self-motivatio- n.
