The San Juan Broncos advance to the tournament as the second seed. Their tournament begins at 10 a.m. when they take on the South Sevier Lady Rams. The Broncos avenged an early season defeat and defeated the Grand County Red Devils in the final game of the Region 13 season. The victory raised the Broncos to a tie with Grand for first place in Region standings but they lost the flip and will have the second seed in the Region the Duchesne Eagles, but Monticello had a little bit better luck, winning the coin toss. The top six teams in the inter region tournament advance to the state tourney, which will be held next week. The Buckaroos closed the season winning one and losing one in volleyball action last week. Monticello defeated the Whitehorse Raiders in three games.
