The total amount listed on each notice is higher than the actual amount owed. An example of the problem and explanation will run in the newspaper for the next three weeks to explain the problem. Tax payers who pay the incorrect amount can receive a refund or can credit the amount to next years taxes. The error equals about $12 for an average home; received a report that a fire truck was stolen by a fire crew member in Monument The truck was Valley. recovered by the Sheriffs department with no damage to the vehicle; received information from Paul Morris about a proposed low income housing subdivision in Spanish Valley. 8-ho- advertised inhouse; approved the hire of regulations require testing of the units every year. The council agreed to move forward and it is anticipated that they could be ready to put the project out for bid in a few weeks. They are still determining the best location for meeting will be held on Monday the 25th of October and work will begin as soon as possible on the course. The bid from Daylen was accepted in a council meeting Bayles to test and evaluate the Cedar Point well; and according to organizers of the Blutf Balloon Festival, the $5,600 they sought from the County Commission on October 9 is not to cover a shortfall from the 2000 festival, but rather to help cover growth from 20 to 40 balloons in the upcoming festival. The council gave their go ahead for the firm to begin a search for funding. The course will be constructed on the west side of highway 191 including land west of the existing course. The estimated completion of the golf course will be in the fall of 2001 with the intent that it w'ill be playable in 2002.
