Show populations, while Asia saw huge butterfly population increases of more than 50. Thus with those events happening concurrently, we have the largest El Nino ever recorded. As we all now know, El Nino creates enormous snowpacks in the following winter which then gives rise to huge whitewater on the Colorado River the following summer. And thus our town that depends on whitewater to survive, is intricately linked with the life cycle of the butterfly, the butterfly being the principle behind large snowpacks. Alan Greenspan, Federal Reserve Chairman and Ayn Rand's most celebrated Adas, has currently engineered the longest peace time economic expansion since Roman rule: 3 sustainable growth, no inflation, prosperity for all Yet how is it different than any other Ponzi scheme? (Even Rome fell) In the middle of any pyramid scheme, all looks rosy. 3 growth, also just happens to be the expansion rate of the world's population, or a doubling every 23 years. As long as the base continues to swell with new members to the Ponzi scheme to support the expanding pyramid; taxes go up, roads become more congested, individual rights diminish, families and children work more hours towards full" employment to just barely survive, all is good, prosperity for alL Yet what happens if that 3 growth stops or even reverses a little bit? Less demand for resources, inflation would become deflation, housing costs would slowly drop, everyone's housing standard would increase at a lower cost. Freeways would become less congested, taxes would disappear with no need for sewer expansions or more prisons. Individual freedoms would increase with fewer conflicts. People would have to work fewer hours to survive, more time to be human. All this is bad. Fortunately none of this is happening in Moab. Instead we have only the good stuff million dollar sewer expansions, prisons expansions to house more state prisoners, more minimum wage jobs to help us survive with full employment in these most wonderful of times. Thank you Mr. Greenspan. Merry Christmas to alL "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that who so ever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." The hope of the life of Jesus Christ, redeemer of man and woman. With the millennia again upon us; Rapture, the Four Horseman and the Second Coming have also returned. For those learned in true Biblical studies I apologize for my lack of depth, I have just a simple point to make. What would it mean if one of the messages of the life of Jesus Christ was simply that he was an only child and fathered no children himself? What would our world be like if we each so loved the world that we gave our only child a belief in everlasting life? In heaven, and also on Earth. What would our world be like if there were only two billion of us? Bounty for all? Everlasting life, for us in heaven as well as our children's children on this Earth? Isn't it curious that the very essence of the Second Coming is identical to what is happening now as we continue to choose to have two kids each? Plague, pestilence, disease, wars and famine are all the direct result of too many people. Would we deliberately cause our children pain, suffering and death because we could not bring our loins under control? God chose to give his only begotten son so that we may have everlasting life. What keeps us from doing the same for our children and ourselves? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year i SUBSCRIBE TO Well, at least he didn't make me an elf.
