Show SEVENTEEN IN PICTURES THANK YOU FOR CONTINUITY The above picture of Harvey Wickwarc and Jim Jones was taken more than a year and a half ago. The photograph at left was taken last week. Since the bench they're now TV&V'' 'v;m' Vi occupying is not the same one they used in the spring of 1995, we can at least report that theyve moved a good 50 feet in the last 18 months. We think these guys have the ,j.- little patches right idea, except for all those Main St. truck fumes. Street.the ubway and )sborn Books, the grass are new? DOG OF THE MONTH: This is Otis who hangs with Megan Johnson and is trying to grow into his ears. v - The city closed Mill Creek Drive in early September, just in time for the start of school and the return of the mountain bike crowd. Since Red Rock School and the road to the Sand Flats are accessed by Mill Creek Drive, it created something of a headache. The reason for the closure, by the way, was to reconstruct the road at a cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars. It was a hot summer. According to the Channel 6 scanner, the thermometer hit 161 degrees in the shade. But a careful observer of the scanner would that on November 9 at 9:37pm, the temp, hit 161 again.
