Dugway offers an unlimited supply of entertainment for people living here. Last week the Easter bunny was good to all the children in the community by visiting the Community Club for the Easter Egg Hunt. All the children had the opportunity to sit on the Easter Bunnies lap and receive a special chocolate egg. The hunt was sponsored Six by ACS volunteers. donated were hundred eggs by the community . Spring activities For spring activities soccer is right on target. This year there will, be several away games. All the players will be bussed to and from the games. They will have the opportunity to play other children in other com- munities. The busses will leave Dugway about 8:30 in the morning and return in the afternoon. Parents are reminded to provide the children with a sack lunch. For the children that attend Day Care there are many activities for which they may participate such as field trips, picnics; gardening, water play and arts and crafts. Contact the Day Care for more information. The hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday ' thru Thursday. The Outdoor Recreation Center is open and has camping gear, boats and for other outdoor equipment rent If you are into fishing, Utah offers numerous lakes for fishing, with tackle to bass boat fishing. The outdoor recreation center can set you up with the works. If fishing is a little too much for the family or friends then try renting a trailer and some camping i . m -- n- - equipment and get away to one of the camping areas just outside of the gate like Simpson Springs or South , Willow. For the Golfers, the Golf Course is now open and the hours are Monday ' thru Thursday from 11:30 to darkness and Friday,. Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 9:00 to darkness. Mr. Smith, Recreation Facilities Manager states, "the fairways are in excellent condition, the greens are shaping available for open bowling, however, due to the construction there will be no summer league this year. Trash pickup With Spring, comes the barbeques and families working in their yards, planting flowers and mowing the grass. For the people out working in their yards there will be a special trash pickup on April 15 and 18. Also p the warehouse is now open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:15 to 3:15 so you may obtain hand tools to aid in the beautification of the yards. Self-Hel- The Bowling alley is und- er construction and is pretty much on target for the remodeling of the kitchen area: The lanes are still . Children are outside and playing. The playgrounds are shaping up, however there is still pieces of broken glass for which parents should be aware. Children should wear shoes and be careful. Parents are reminded that there is no supervision at the playgrounds and parents need to be aware of what is going on. Command Sgt. Maj. John Sharpe said, "if my children were playing in the playground I would take the initiative to police the area so my children wouldn't get hurt."
