As a matter of fact, been lean times very lean. But we are now at the threshold of anew period in our his- tory. The next fiscal year, with the realization of many new modernization projects, is just the starting point. The very fact that Dugway is in its 43rd year indicates there is a real need, and permanent demand, for the type of work we do. And we are better equipped and located to do this work than any installation in the Department of Defense. You can be proud, also, of Dugways past record. Even in the worst of times, both economically and image wise, the mission was accom- plished. I feel that I owe it to the women of our business community to stand up for their rights and also feel that perhaps we need to our criteria for EEO counselors. His tasteless comments implied that only pretty females should be allowed on the public airwaves. As a woman in the workforce, and also a member of a minority group, I would strongly discourage any woman from approaching this man for advice regarding sexism in the workplace. It may be that this man l&cks the knowledge to understand the gravity of comments that slam women. If the EEO office needs, more counselors to replace persons who do not believe in equality between the sexes, I will gladly volunteer my services.
